Kirchdorf District Authority

The new building for the district authority is designed as a triple-storey building, thrifty in its usage of the available space on the site and has a large inside atrium with vertical greenery, By adopting the structural edges of the neighbouring buildings the property blends in harmoniously with its surroundings. A visible, easily readable and friendly building for the district and community.

»We praise the design in terms of work culture, customer orientation, health and indoor comfort with the central solution of the atrium and its vertical greenery …. The treatment of resources in floor space and material is prudent, the façade provides for suitable solutions for the functions of ventilation and screening from the sun.« Excerpt from the jury report.
